Further Discussion On Standoff 2 Ranking System
The Legends rank is the highest rank in Standoff 2, and you must obtain more than 2150 MMR to reach there. You must play ranked games in Competitive Mode and win a game with your team. The team to win 10 rounds will win the game. During the game, you will play on the terrorist side and counter-terrorist side. Your ranking will increase as you win more rounds, but your rank will decrease if you lose simultaneously.
At the end of the match, your MMR is balanced, and then you are assigned the rank depending on the MMR you win. In a nutshell, if you perform better during the game and win the game, you will level up.
Let me give you an example. Say you have a rating of 1000 MMR. During the match, you received 75 MMR for your performance. But you also lost about 20 MMR. After balancing it out, you gain a total of 55 MMR. This 55 MMR will be added, and now your total MMR after the game is 1055 MMR.
Your rank will increase after you gain the total MMR required to reach there.
One thing to keep in mind while playing Standoff is you should not react too much to your enemies. You must use strategy to predict where the enemy can be and then just kill the enemy. It, however, requires a lot of practice and map knowledge.
You can do many things to get into higher ranks, which requires a lot of practice. You cannot just cheat your way through this. There are no shortcuts but only hard work. Play the game with an open mind. Learn from your mistakes, and you will rank higher.
Also, you must build up game knowledge, like which weapons fit the game and the weapon’s recoil pattern, which is another thing that takes time to master and range.
