In Dota 2, Players get skins from drops, but if not, they buy them. However, players might feel boring playing with the same old skin for a long time. In such cases, players can exchange their skins with another skin from another player, which is called Trading in Dota 2.
However, every item and skin in Dota 2 is not tradable. There are some requirements that the item and the player account have to meet to do trade in the game.
Requirement for the item to be tradable in Dota 2
(i) Items of some specific type are not tradeable. (Listed as non-tradable in the item description)
(ii) You can’t trade Items unboxed from a Treasure until three months after the treasure gets released.
(iii) After you purchase Dota 2 Item market, you can’t trade or sell again in the market within one week of purchase.
(iv) Account must have a successful purchase older than thirty days but not older than a year.
(v) Account must have had Steam Guard enabled for 15 days.
(vi) If you have had your password reset by Steam Support, you will need to wait another 15 days with Steam Guard enabled before you can trade or list items on the Community Market.
