What is the Great view from up here advancement?
A great view from up here is a late-game advancement in Minecraft, which you can unlock by getting hit by a shulker box’s attacks and if you levitate 50 blocks.
You won’t be able to go 50 blocks above just by getting hit from the shulker box because when you get hit twice or thrice, you will levitate up higher, which will be out of the shulker box’s range. Then you will fall without getting the advancement.
Completing Great view from up here advancement in Minecraft
There is a simple trick that you can use to complete Great view from up here achievement in Minecraft, but for this, you need some ender pearl.
Step 1
You will need to find a shulker box first, which only spawns in the end city in Minecraft.
So firstly, find the stronghold and enter the end through the end portal. To open the portal to the end city, you will need to defeat the ender dragon first.
Then somewhere at the edge, you will find the portal to the end city, which will look like;
Step 2
Enter this portal by throwing your ender pearl at the portal. Then you will reach another biome with chorus fruits and endermen.
You can travel to different chunks to find the end city. The end city has a pretty big building with a boat floating at the side which will look like this;
Step 3
You will find shulker boxes all over this building, and you need to defeat the shulke boxes at the lower levels first.
Find one shulker which is at a higher altitude like this one.
Step 4
Get hit by the shulker box once and once you start levitating, take an ender pearl in your hand, aim it to the ground and throw it.
Once you land, the achievement will be complete. My screen is showing the advancement completed notification because I have already completed it in the overworld.
You can also unlock the Great view from up Here advancement in the overworld by bringing the shulker box into the overworld in Minecraft.
So, only you have to place it in a boat then take it to the overworld through the portal you came to the end city.
