Keep them happy
Another way to keep the villager stay in the village for a long is to keep them happy. And to keep them satisfied, you need to give them bread regularly.
By giving at least one piece of bread to all villagers every day maintains a good friendship with them. But if you don’t have bread, start wheat farming and cook as much as you can. Or, you can buy bread from them.
Breed villagers
To stop your villager from disappearing from the village in Minecraft, you need to breed them. By doing so, the members will increase and stay there.

Give them job
Keep your villager busy by giving them the job of Fishermen, butchers, armorers, clerics, weaponsmiths, and many more. By doing so, you will get double advantages.
Firstly, the villager will live in the villager forever. And secondly, you can buy rare items from them without much effort.
Avoid hurting them
If you hurt your villagers for fun, it’s your big mistake. Beating the villager means you are breaking their trust in you.
Furthermore, whenever you enter the village, you should not destroy their houses, chests, golems and other equipment.
