You can do automatic bamboo farming in Minecraft, but first, you need to make a working farm, and if you do not know how to build it, then this article is for you.
Like other farms, this bamboo farm also uses the simple Redstone mechanism. The automatic farm work like this- the water flow helps the Bamboo to flow to collect in the chest through the hopper.
On the upper layer, observers check the growth of Bamboo and transfer the signals to the Redstone dust and the pistons, and when the pistons receive the call, it breaks the grown bamboo.
The raw material required to build an Automatic Bamboo farm is- 2 chests, 8 Dirt, water bucket, 8 Bamboo, 8 pistons, 8 Redstone dust, 8 observers, and 8 building blocks. Now, follow the steps if you have all these needed resources.
Steps to Build Automatic Bamboo farm in Minecraft
Dig four-block holes and place two chests and two hoppers connecting to the chest.
Now, count 8 blocks from the chest, and make the border(Wall). (Like Shown in the Picture)
Then, pour water between the space and let it flow to the last hopper. (Remember to put water from the initial point)
Then replace one side of the wall with Dirt to farm bamboo in Minecraft.
Make a horizontal pillar using temporary blocks 1 block behind and 1 block up from the Dirt. (As shown in the Picture)
Now is the time to use pistons on the bamboo farm.
Place pistons by facing them towards the Dirt blocks or the Bamboo to plant sugarcanes on those blocks.
And on top of them, place observers facing in the same direction.

Again make a horizontal pillar behind the pistons or place a building block behind each piston.
Place observers on top of pistons, again facing toward the Dirt bocks.
Then, Place Redstone dust on the building blocks you placed behind the pistons.
Now you can remove the blocks that you place below the pistons.
Successfully, you have completed building a Minecraft automatic bamboo farm, so now plant Bamboo on the Dirt, then the farming will automatically start.
